Qurdbasar or Azerbaijani shepher dog is a livestock guardian dog breed of Azerbaijan. It is mainly used in sheep farming for management of the sheep flock.
Qurdbasar literally means ‘wolf vanquisher’ or ‘wolf conqueror’ in Azerbaijani.
